What Do I Wear?
Regular workout clothes that you would wear to the gym are usual attire. However, as you start getting fabulous on the pole (with practice) you will be encouraged to wear a T-shirt without sleeves and shorts as it is easier with as much skin contact as possible (some moves are also difficult if you wear bulky clothing). However, it will always be your decision on what workout clothes you want to wear, it is always best to be comfortable.
NO JEWELRY. We don't want to scratch the poles or get your skin pinched.
Do I need to wear oils or moisturise my skin?
No lotion or oils on hands, arms or legs. Sorry ladies, we need your skin clean and smooth and don't want to make the poles slippery.
Shoes?
If you wish to bring your high heels- that's great! We suggest that they have straps around the ankles and are comfortable. We dance in platform shoes and have them available at the studio for sale. The platform shoes are a great way to tone the calves and offer great support and give you the ability to pivot easily. We also teach classes that don't wear shoes, so it is your choice.
Studio Parties?
Absolutely! Bachelorette and Birthday, Holidays, girls night out or TGIF. You name it we can do it! This is all about having fun. Please, if you want a private party - book well in advance. Private and semi private classes are also available. Please call.
Health Considerations?
If you suffer from any illness or health condition, please let us know, or if you have any questions about how these may affect you ability to pole dance, don't hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to answer any question in strict confidentialy. If you are concerned, it maybe best to get a medical clearance first.
I'm Scared
Loads of people are scared and nervous simply because they do not know what to expect. Others worry about their weight, their cellulite, their fitness level, etc. Everyone is anxious the first time they attend, but you will be made so welcome, you will soon forget you nerves.
What if I need to miss a class?
Dont' worry, we have makeup classes available. There is a time frame for these classes to be made up, but we will work with you
